Windows normally only includes registered file types when searching for files and folders. This tweak can be used to enable searching of all file types.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'FilterFilesWithUnknownExtensions' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: (0 = default, 1 = all file types)
